Woman survives ‘extraordinary’ crash into Seattle apartment building

A 37-year-old woman survived what Seattle police are calling an extraordinary crash in the First Hill neighborhood.

It happened Sunday evening around 6 p.m.

Officers say the woman was driving eastbound on University Street when she tried to make a U-turn at Boren Avenue, hit a parked car, went up onto the sidewalk, through a railing, and onto a ramp attached to an apartment building…
