LIVINGSTON COUNTY — There are several important trials slated for 2025, ranging from homicide to assault.
Trials are often rescheduled, and several of the defendants listed below have already seen their day in court pushed at least once. As of now, the trial dates are:
Scott Holloway
Scott Holloway was originally scheduled for a jury trial Sept. 23-27 in front of Judge Matthew McGivney. The trial has been rescheduled for March 10-19. Holloway, 56, is charged with four counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a minor under the age of 13. Police say the alleged acts took place between 1993 and 2005 when Holloway lived in Putnam Township. He was charged in January 2022.
Robert Albert
Robert Albert, 37, of Fenton, is scheduled for a jury trial March 31-April 9 in front of Judge Matthew McGivney. Albert is charged with one count of second-degree murder, one count of operating while intoxicated causing death, and one count of operating while intoxicated causing serious injury. The first charge is punishable by a life sentence, by discretion of the court.
According to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, Albert was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado south on Denton Hill Road in Tyrone Township in 2022 when he crashed into an eastbound 2017 Chevrolet Camaro attempting to turn north from Denton Creek Drive…
