Juvenile shot in domestic violence incident in Jennings, suspect charged

CLAYTON, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A man is facing felony charges accusing him of shooting a juvenile during a domestic violence incident on Tuesday in Jennings.

St. Louis County prosecutors have charged 39-year-old Reginald Jackson with first-degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful possession of a firearm. He is currently confined in the St. Louis County Jail on $50,000 cash-only bond.

Charging documents state the shooting happened around 9:13 p.m. Tuesday in the 1900 block of Switzer Avenue. Jackson was allegedly in an argument with the juvenile victim’s mother when the juvenile entered the bedroom and said the family was tired of Jackson “putting your hands on our mom.”…
