Pair of Late Goals Leads to Comeback Result at South Carolina

COLUMBIA, S.C. – North Florida men’s soccer (1-1) stayed resilient through all 90 minutes of its road match against South Carolina (1-1) with a 2-2 comeback draw on the road Sunday afternoon.

After falling down by two scores, Rentaro Miyakawa pumped life back into the Ospreys’ squad with the team’s first goal of the 2024 season. Just three minutes later, Braden Masker sent one from outside the box with help from a slight deflection to force the road result.

The Ospreys produced its first result under head coach Jamie Davies with the comeback draw on the road. They also either tied or won a match against a Power Four school for the first time since defeating N.C. State in 2016…
