CARMEL, Ind. — Hours and events for 2024 Carmel Christkindlmarkt have officially been unveiled.
According to a press release sent Friday, Christkindlmarkt will be open from Nov. 23-Dec. 24 this year. As it has been in past years, Christkindlmarkt will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, open noon to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and open from noon to 8 p.m. on Sundays.
The popular Christmas attraction will have different hours on the following dates:
- Nov. 27 — Noon to 9 p.m.
- Nov. 28 — Closed (Thanksgiving)
- Dec. 16-17 — 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Dec. 23 — Noon to 9 p.m.
- Dec. 24 — Noon to 4 p.m.
- Dec. 25 — Closed (Christmas Day)
Per a release, this year’s Christkindlmarkt will feature some fan favorite events and other new proceedings:
- Wundernacht — Nov. 20, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Opening Ceremony — Nov. 23, 11 a.m. to noon
- Sankt Martinstag — Nov. 30, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Indianapolis Colts Fest — Dec. 1, noon to 8 p.m.
- Chriskind ChoralFest — Dec. 4, 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Sankt Nikolaustag — Dec. 6, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- KulturFest — Dev. 7, 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
- German Sing-Along and Ornament Exchange — Dec. 11, 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- StudentenFest — Dec. 13, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Gluwein Gallop 5K Walk/Run — Dec. 14, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- Military Appreciation Day — Dec. 15, noon to 8 p.m.
- Carmel Christkindlmarkt Bier Competition — Dec. 20, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
