BROWNSBURG, Ind. — The Brunswick Corporation is scaling back production at its Mercury Marine facility in Brownsburg.
A company spokesperson indicated five salaried employees were laid off at the Mercury Marine facility in Brownsburg in September. The Brunswick Corporation also reported that it has reduced its Brownsburg workforce by about 50 people over the last few months.
The company attributed the workforce cutback to reduction in consumer demand in the marine industry.
