The building at 22 Waverly St. that was originally St. Casimir’s Lithuanian School is poised to become a 32-unit apartment building. On Dec. 18 the Planning Board approved a proposal by Auburn-based applicant John D. Mulryan to renovate the building into mostly one-bedroom apartments, with three studios. Three of the apartments will be affordable housing at 60% of the area median income. The building has three levels above ground and one below. The largest unit will be an 800-square-foot one-bedroom apartment on the lower-level floor, plans show. The school closed in 1986.
