Sunshine Rescue Mission closes for the second time this year due to flooding from damaged roof

Sunshine Rescue Mission was forced to close its doors late last week after issues with the roof caused severe flooding on the first and second floors of the building.

According to Sarah Langley, public information officer for the City of Flagstaff, a city building safety official was called to Sunshine Rescue Mission and they observed “significant amounts of water entering the building from the roof.”
