WEST ALTON, Mo. — A Florissant man died at the scene of a West Alton crash Saturday evening, according to a crash report from police.
Gary S. Caldwell was driving a 1973 Triumph TR6 east on Missouri Route 94 near Dresser Island Road when the crash happened around 7:50 p.m.
Paramedics responded to the crash to render aid to Caldwell, but he was declared dead less than 30 minutes after the crash. He was 72 years old…
