SWAT officer shot after trying to serve warrant in Roswell, suspect dead

ROSWELL, Ga. — A suspect is dead and a SWAT officer was injured after being shot twice after trying to serve a warrant in Roswell on Friday afternoon.

Officials say Roswell Police Chief James Conroy was in the process of serving an arrest warrant related to an incident where someone fired a gun into the air after he was told to leave a party on New Year’s Eve.
