The California Highway Patrol (CHP) Border Division’s Organized Retail Crime Task Force (ORCTF) has successfully dismantled a retail theft ring responsible for stealing more than $143,000 in merchandise. The investigation, involving four suspects, uncovered that the group, known as “boosters,” committed around ten thefts across Orange and Los Angeles counties between August 24 and September 27, 2024.
