- Dallas police are investigating an early Saturday morning drive-by shooting at North Stemmons Freeway and Inwood Road that seriously injured two women.
- 38-year-old Nikki James says she was heading home in a private ride she hired with her 20-year-old daughter after a night out when someone pulled up on them, opened fire and sped off.
- The mom is still recovering at the hospital. The daughter was shot twice and has since been released.
- James believes she knows who targeted their SUV and has given that information to the police. No arrests have been made.
DALLAS – Dallas police are still looking for suspects in a drive-by shooting that seriously injured a mother and daughter who were riding home from a night out.
One of the victims, who was transported to the hospital in critical condition, says they were at a stoplight here when bullets just started flying.
The shooting happened at the intersection of North Stemmons Freeway and Inwood Road early Saturday around 5 a.m.
