Troy Aikman won three Super Bowls as the quarterback of the Cowboys’ 1990s dynasty. Since then, Aikman has become the premier NFL game analyst on television, first with FOX and now at ESPN. But last Thursday, it was Aikman’s comments during a radio interview on 96.7 The Ticket that caught the attention of Dallas fans. In particular, Aikman called out the team’s wide receivers.
“I think they run terrible routes, and I’ve thought that beyond this year,” Aikman said . “I think CeeDee has got to improve in his route running. As a quarterback, if you’re not certain where guys are going to be consistently, it’s hard to play the position.”…
