Scottsdale city manager leaving for Colorado position

Apparently, a raise to $390,000 per year – making him the second-highest city manager in the state – was not enough to keep Jim Thompson in Scottsdale.

He is headed north to run a medium-sized city in Colorado.

The city manager’s Tuesday night might be dubbed “A Tale of Two City Councils.”…
