CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A police officer arrested on Christmas Eve for assault involving a gun was charged again, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
Arrest records show 51-year-old Officer Onesiphorus Bernard Williams was charged on Friday, Dec. 27, for a domestic violence protective order violation. He posted a $5,000 unsecured bond two days later on Sunday, Dec. 29.

Williams was initially charged on Christmas Eve following a domestic assault with a deadly weapon at a private residence near 6800 Somersworth Drive in east Charlotte.
