CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Warm temperatures will remain in the forecast for the next few days before cooling back off by the end of this week and into next.
- Today: Sunshine, pleasant upper 70s
- Rest of Week: Stays way above normal
- Weekend: Warm 80s Saturday, cool 60s Sunday
Sunny skies will hold in the forecast today with afternoon readings rebounding to right about 80 degrees. That’s nearly 10 degrees above average for this time of the year. Tonight will bring clear skies and chilly temperatures again with lows mainly in the 40s.
Sunshine will dominate the rest of the week ahead with cool nights and unseasonably warm afternoons. Morning lows will continue to run cool, bottoming out in the upper 40s and low 50s with highs holding close to 80 degrees through Thursday.
A cold front will work its way back into the area late in the week, cooling off Friday just a little bit. Highs Friday will top out in the mid to upper 70s then warm to the lower 80s on Saturday before knocking back to the cool upper 60s on Sunday.
There’s virtually no chance of any much-needed rain at any point through the weekend…
