FORT MYERS, Fla. — A convicted felon from Fort Myers pleaded guilty on Wednesday to illegally possessing a firearm as a convicted felon and distributing controlled substances.

James Wallace Mathis, Jr., 44, sold drugs multiple times in July and August 2024, according to court records.
