TALLAHASSEE — Port Charlotte (Fla.) quarterback Logan Flaherty camped with Florida State a couple of summers ago. He also had previously made his way to campus for a game, but not as a recruiting visitor. On the Saturday before Christmas, he and his family stopped in Tallahassee for an extended recruiting visit. It provided him his strongest glimpse into the program to-date. He and his family spent the day in a 1-on-1 situation with quarterbacks coach Tony Tokarz, as he was the only signal-caller on campus.
“It was cool,” Flaherty said of the visit. “It was nice to meet with [Tokarz] on a personal level. Get some one-on-one time. Learn more about the campus, about the program, meet Coach Norvell and Coach Malzahn. The school is really neat.”
Tokarz has been consistent with the 6-foot-2, 183-pound signal-caller since he had him in camp in the past. He has been down to Port Charlotte in the past to check on him. He extended an offer to Flaherty back on November 15th – marking his third offer joining Tulane and Louisville. It is clear that Flaherty is a 2027 quarterback that has caught the attention of Tokarz…
