Dawson Eugene Yarnelle Jr., a radiant spirit who graced this world for just a short time, was born on Sept. 17, 2024, in Fort Wayne. He left us too soon, peacefully passing away on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2024, surrounded by the love and warmth of his family.
Though Eugene’s time with us was brief, it was filled with love and promise. He was the cherished son of Dawson and Shelby Collins Yarnelle and the beloved brother of his dear sister, Nova. Eugene brought boundless joy to his family, and his presence lit up their lives in ways words struggle to capture. He was a part of a large extended family that included many grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins, all of whom adored him deeply.
