FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Despite another chilly start with sunrise temperatures falling into the 30s in some spots, a warmer weekend is in store!
A high pressure system stays strong across the region, keeping any big weather systems out of our area. Sunshine and dry conditions are expected for the weekend. Temperatures return to the 70s through the weekend into the start of next workweek.
The above-average trend with the 70s won’t last for long! Our next cold front arrives on Wednesday, dropping us down into the 50s and 60s. A few stray showers are possible as the cold front passes, but the rainfall itself doesn’t look very impressive just yet. If we do manage to maintain some of the stray showers on Wednesday, light totals are expected…
