Indiana family demands answers after man dies following 911 call for seizure

DEMOTTE, Ind. (WLS/CNN/CNN Newsource/WKRC) – An investigation is underway after a 911 call for a medical emergency ended with an Indiana father dead, and his family is blaming the responding officers.

Miracle Gawlinski, the aunt of Rhyker Earl, said his grandmother called police on the night of September 8 because Earl was suffering from a seizure. It had been the second one that same day.

When Jasper County deputies and paramedics responded to his home on Bahama Drive at the Island Grove Mobile Home Park in DeMotte, Gawlinski told WLS the situation escalated…
