A York County resident accused of killing one of his business partners and injuring another in a Dec. 13 ambush of gunfire in Maryland was behind on payments to one of the men, according to court documents obtained by PennLive.
Maryland investigators say Austin P. Potocki, 30, of Hanover, laid in wait the morning of Dec. 13, then repeatedly shot at Benjamin Billings’ pickup truck at Wesley Road and Patapsco Road in Finksburg, Carroll County.
Billings, 33, was pronounced dead at the scene. The 42-year-old man in his passenger seat, who also was a business partner of Potocki, suffered non-life-threatening injuries…
