23 September 2024- A Western Maryland player happily returned to Lottery headquarters recently after winning a $50,000 top prize on the $5 Joker’s Wild scratch-off. This prize is his second big win in two years.
The retired maintenance worker, who is using the nickname “Local Philanthropist” to share the story of his latest encounter with Lottery luck, also won $100,000 on an In the Money scratch-off in September 2023. He said he is still helping out his neighbors and he believes that is how good luck found him again.
