Last Saturday at the Dickinson College New Year Invitational in Carlisle, Pa., Johnson won the girls 1,600-meter run in 5:02.27 to set a Washington County record for the event indoors. The previous mark was 5:05.91, set by Boonsboro’s Meggan Grams in 2015.
