MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Some Ride On bus routes will be changing starting later this month in Montgomery County.
The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will adjust 27 schedules starting Sunday, Jan. 12. The department said the changes would improve efficiency and on-time performance, allowing for “more reliable service where demand is higher.”

- Timetable changes: 1, 2, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 18, 27, 38, 46, 47, 48, 49, 51, 54, 55, 56, 74, 90, 96, 97, 98, extRa Lime Route, Flash Blue Route, and Flash Orange Route Trip adjustments: 1, 2, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 18, 38, 46, 47, 48, 49, 51, 54, 55, 56, 74, 90, 96, 97, 98, Flash Blue Route, and Flash Orange Route
- Frequency adjustments: 27
- Extended service span: Ride On extRa Lime Route (which began on Nov. 17, 2024
