HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) – After a season-opening loss to Notre Dame of Maryland, EMU women’s basketball hasn’t looked back, securing its sixth straight win Sunday afternoon with a 59-52 victory over Hood College.
In the first quarter, the Blazers set the tone, finishing with a 14-6 lead. EMU responded in the second quarter going on a 17-8 run to take a 23-22 lead at the half.
