Ephrata police have charged a 14-year-old Virginia boy with making terroristic threats toward the Ephrata Community Pool in June.
On June 28, Ephrata police were alerted to a shooting threat made online against the pool. Police determined the threats to be baseless, but the pool announced over social media that it would be closed the following day, “in an abundance of caution.”
Police increased security at the pool in the days after the threat. No incidents were reported…
