Gas prices plunge to lowest in over three years – and drivers are expected to save even more in ‘early holiday gift’

MILLIONS of Americans are to enjoy cheaper fuel – with the price of gas falling to a three-year low.

According to the American Automobile Association, the national average cost for one gallon of regular gasoline currently sits at just $3.01 – the lowest since May 11, 2021.

However, as reported by KRON4, most Bay Area and California drivers won’t be enjoying quite the same low prices, with the average price of gas in California currently around $4.36.

However, this represents a much lower rate than this time last year’s average of $4.73 – when many Californians were driving for holiday gatherings…
