( KRON ) — The Union City Police Department arrested two people in connection to a fire that killed a 66-year-old man on Monday. Police said they are investigating this case as a murder.
At about 3:30 a.m., UCPD responded to the 33400 block of 14th Street on multiple reports of a “fully engulfed residence.” Officers arrived to find a “significant fire” and said they were able to evacuate most residents from the building.
“Unfortunately, a 66-year-old male resident was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries,” UCPD said…
