( KRON ) — A wildfire erupted in San Jose on Tuesday afternoon, closing multiple off-ramps from US-101 and forcing nearby businesses to shelter in place, the San Jose Fire Department said.
The fire was at Tully Road and northbound US-101. It was reported at 3:20 p.m. SJFD described the fire as “large.” The scene has since been cleared.
The off-ramp to Tully Road, as well as the on and off-ramps to Story Road, were closed, according to California Highway Patrol’s traffic log. Tully Road was also shut down in both directions near the fire…
