After a string of seven wins, Genoa Area’s good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Oak Harbor Rockets by a score of 1-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Comets of the 1-0 loss they experienced in the pair’s previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
Genoa Area’s defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-2-1. As for Oak Harbor, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1-3.
