Deion Sanders Owned The Largest Home In Texas, How Big Was It?

As the saying goes, ‘Everything is bigger in Texas’. You would think with all the space we have available in the state that Texas would have one of the largest, if not the largest, homes in the country. Unfortunately, that is not the case.

According to Angi.com, when it comes to ranking the biggest home in each state, Texas ranks 27th.

One of the largest homes in Texas is nearly 30,000 square feet, according to Angi.com. Taking a look at a list of the previous owners, this monstrous home once belonged to former Dallas Cowboys cornerback and wide receiver Deion Sanders, who was the head coach at Jackson State, but now is at the University of Colorado Boulder. The largest home in Texas sits in far north Dallas in Collin County among many others in an exclusive gated subdivision called ‘The Montclair’.

Chateau Montclair, as it’s known, is the largest home in Texas.

This extravagant estate home sits on nearly six acres in Prosper and has a perfect view of a ten-acre lake. This place looks like it spared no expenses when it was constructed in 1999. It has soaring high ceilings, double winding staircases flanking the foyer of the front door, and marble flooring that will beam back your reflection.

This home has some amazing features and is extremely grandeur.

Owning this home means you’ll have access to a two-lane bowling alley, indoor basketball court, theater, three swimming pools, and enough space to hang up every concert t-shirt you own in the 3,000 – yes, you read that right, three-thousand-square foot primary closet. That’s just the beginning of this gorgeous home that has 9 bedrooms and 10 full baths and 3 half baths…
