On Tuesday, October 22, 2024, City of Shelby staff, Shelby City Council members, Shelby mayor, Parks & Recreation Advisory Board members, and members of the Terrill family and community, gathered at Holly Oak Park for the dedication of the Mitchell Terrill Sr. field.
Mr. Terrill had a tremendous impact on his community, especially the youth that he mentored while coaching and officiating baseball, football and basketball sports programs at Holly Oak Park, and later on coaching baseball at Shelby City Park…
