SPARTANBURG, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced a nurse aide was accused of stealing more than $12,000 from a vulnerable adult.
The Vulnerable Adults and Medicaid Provider Fraud Unit (VAMPF) conducted an investigation along with the Spartanburg Police Department that revealed 37-year-old Lamesha Thompson allegedly made unlawful and unauthorized use of the funds and assets of a vulnerable adult. Investigators said it happened between December 12, 2023, and January 2, 2024.
