A Fort McCoy man was killed in a fatal accident on Saturday morning after his car collided with a pickup truck in Marion County. The accident took place less than 12 hours after another man from Fort McCoy was rear-ended and killed while riding his motorcycle.
The second fatal crash occurred on NE 160th Avenue Road, nearly half a mile south of the NE 180th Street intersection, at around 6:40 a.m. on Saturday, October 26.
According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the driver and sole occupant of the car involved in the accident – a 64-year-old man from Fort McCoy – sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene…
