Cleveland Woman Arrested for DUI and Drug Possession After Crash in Stephens County

On the evening of October 10, 2024, deputies from the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle accident on Prather Bridge Road, resulting in the arrest of 49-year-old Stephanie Cohron of Cleveland, Georgia.

At approximately 9:13 p.m., deputies arrived at the scene to find Cohron unharmed after her Nissan Rogue had run off the roadway and crashed into a ditch. Cohron explained that she swerved to avoid an oncoming vehicle, leading to the accident.

During their conversation, a deputy from the SCSO’s S.T.I.N.G. Unit noted signs that Cohron may have been under the influence of drugs. Despite claiming to be five years sober, she admitted that her boyfriend, currently jailed on drug charges, had been in her vehicle recently.
