Big Canoe roads remain impassable. Do not attempt to drive. If you see Public Works snowplows clearing some streets, it does not mean roads are clear. Grit and salt spreading is ongoing.
This is a multi-day task of tree and road clearing. The national weather service has issued a special weather statement for our area this morning due to the ice and temperatures. Please continue to shelter in place.
All POA amenities, facilities, Lakeside Bistro, and the Package Porch remain closed. Contractors, guests, and deliveries will not be allowed into the gates during this extended weather event.
Please continue to support our Public Safety team by staying off the roads and please do not call Dispatch for weather updates, power outages, or road conditions, they will be busy managing emergency needs. Do call Public Safety Dispatch to report downed trees blocking roads only. In the event of an extended loss of power, The Lodge will be our warming station.
