Original typewritten draft lyrics to ‘Mr. Tambourine Man’ sold for over $500K at Nashville auction

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A white glove auction of memorabilia owned and used by Bob Dylan was held in Nashville on Saturday.

The “Celebrating Bob Dylan: The Aronowitz Archive & More” auction was hosted by Julien’s Auctions at the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum and generated almost $1.5 million in sales.

60 pieces of music memorabilia owned and used by Dylan were auctioned including 50 items from rock journalist Al Aronowitz’s personal collection. Aronowitz was one of the very first professional rock & roll journalists and was a longtime friend of Dylan and many other musicians…
