Across Texas, law enforcement officers continue to display remarkable acts of bravery in the face of danger.
From small towns to big cities, the state’s police officers have gone above and beyond to protect and serve their communities. One notable example of heroism occurred in Nacogdoches where two officers are being hailed as heroes in their community.

On Friday, September 27th at around 12:19 PM, two of patrol officers were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Austin St. in Nacogdoches, responding to a report of a suicidal woman.
Officer Seth Stover was the first to arrive and immediately began speaking with the distraught woman, who was threatening to jump from the bridge.
Officer Chris Snider then arrived to assist in convincing the woman to climb back over the guardrail.
Despite the officers’ best efforts, the situation was deteriorating quickly, and the woman appeared ready to jump. Disregarding the risk to their own safety, both officers bravely grabbed the woman and pulled her back over the guardrail to safety…
