Jurado unseats Kevin de León in Los Angeles City Council race

Los Angeles Councilmember Kevin de León, representing the city’s 14th District, refused to resign from his seat after a 2022 audio recording caught him complaining about his constituents as colleagues made racist remarks.

Now, two years later, his constituents did it for him.
