Illinois Doppler radar Friday morning showed snow falling across parts of Chicago as a winter storm in the southern part of the U.S. makes its way across parts of the Midwest, leading to crashes and spin-outs on slick and slippery roads, and a brief ground stop at O’Hare International Airport.
As of 9:40 a.m., the ground stop had been lifted, but the FAA warned that snow could lead to multiple delays at airports, including Chicago and Midway, with additional ground stops possible.
