Person Shot By Police In Mount Greenwood After Claiming He Harmed Family: Reports

MT. GREENWOOD — The Civilian Office of Police Accountability is investigating a police-involved shooting at a Mount Greenwood home on Thursday that left one person hospitalized in serious condition.

Chicago police responded to a “person with a gun” call at about 3:49 p.m. in the 10000 block of South Millard Avenue. When officers arrived, they saw a “male individual,” whose age was not released, leaning out of a window, police said.
