CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — An elderly man has died two months after being hit by a car in southeast Charlotte, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
Around 8:20 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 18, officers responded to a crash involving a pedestrian in the 100 block of North Sharon Amity Road. When they arrived, they found 75-year-old Donald Foyster Tillman suffering from serious injuries. He was taken to a local hospital, but was pronounced dead on Dec. 21 due to his injuries, officials said.
Investigators say Tillman did not have the right-of-way when he stepped into oncoming traffic. He was hit by a 2022 Mercedes driven by a 56-year-old man who CMPD said stayed at the scene and was not impaired…
