CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – After nearly 70 years teaching students in a band room, an accomplished band director and conducter who spent the past three decades teaching thousands of students at Charlotte Catholic Schools is retiring.
“I always heard the term: ‘You’ll know when it’s time, you’ll know when it’s time’…Well, maybe this is the time,” said Mecklenburg Area Catholic Schools’ Instrumental Music Coordinator Stan Michalski.
