Hornets’ Charlie Brown: Dealt to Charlotte

The Knicks traded Brown, DaQuan Jeffries and Duane Washington, along with three second-round picks to the Hornets in exchange for James Nnaji to help complete the three-team trade that sent Karl-Anthony Towns to New York and Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo to Minnesota, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.

Brown presumably is included in this deal as a sign-and-trade, as the Knicks didn’t extend him a two-way qualifying offer earlier this offseason. Brown made just eight regular-season appearances for New York in 2023-24, and he will likely compete for a regular-season roster spot in Charlotte…
