Iconic Charlotte restaurant closing after 40 years

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Fenwick’s, a restaurant that has served Charlotte’s Myers Park community since 1984, announced it will close its doors in March after four decades of operation.

Owner Don Rabb shared the news in a heartfelt post on social media this week.

The restaurant, which began in a converted Steak & Egg diner, became a community gathering spot over the years. Rabb and his late wife Catherine transformed the space into what would become one of Charlotte’s most enduring neighborhood establishments…
