TikTok could soon be banned in the U.S. A Charlotte business owner shares how it gave her a boost

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The clock is counting down to Sunday’s ban of social media app TikTok. Senator Ed Markey of Massachusetts is asking for an additional 270 days to look into the app and said it’s more than just an app, but also a way for small businesses to grow and thrive.

WCNC Charlotte reporter Austin Walker talked to one small business owner in Charlotte who said she was close to quitting until one day everything changed because of TikTok.
