That’s right, the time has finally come and North Carolina is getting a Whataburger. Well, actually, North Carolina will be getting a few Whataburger locations spread out throughout the state in 2025.
For years, there have been rumors and speculation about when the famous fast-food restaurant would finally open its doors in North Carolina. Now, reports are officially naming locations and estimating opening dates for each location in the Tar Heel state.
The Texas chain restaurant will be opening multiple locations in the Charlotte area, High Point, Winston-Salem, and more. Charlotte Axios reported on the news on Monday and listed each of the opening locations.
Whataburger North Carolina Locations Coming in 2025
- Gastonia (3415 E Franklin Blvd.) — Late spring
- Charlotte (12935 Albemarle Road) — Early summer
- Hickory (2060 US Hwy 70 S.E.) — Early summer
- Indian Land (8574 Charlotte Hwy.) — Mid-summer
- Winston-Salem (291 Harvey St.) — Late summer
- Greensboro (Address to come) — Late summer
- High Point (2713 N Main St.) — Early fall
- Archdale (10118 N Main St.) — Fall
The report states that all locations will be modernized versions with double drive-thru lanes, curbside pickup, and digital ordering for customer convenience. Whataburger is open 24/7, so it will be an additional late-night or early-morning bite to grab in the Carolinas…
