The southeast quadrant of U.S. Highway 183 and State Highway 29 is about to get a lot busier with the planned additions of anchor retail stores Costco and Target.
Target, which is projected to cost $22 million to build according to a recent filing from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), is set to undergo construction in July 2025 and be completed by June 2026. The store will be more than 148,000 square feet in size.
Costco, which recently had a site permit approved at Seward Junction through Williamson County Emergency Services District No. 4, will include a retail warehouse and a fuel center. No additional information is available for the warehouse, but the $8.2 million fuel center is set to undergo construction in January 2025 and be completed by October 2025.
