Texas volleyball tops LSU on the road, improves to 2-0 in SEC play

Two days after beating rival Texas A&M in its SEC opener, the Texas volleyball team swept LSU 25-20, 25-20, 20-12 on Sunday in front of an LSU-record crowd of 3,885 at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge.

The match between Texas and the Aggies on Friday had an official attendance of 9,236, which set a record for a volleyball match in Reed Arena as well as for any regular-season NCAA volleyball match in the state of Texas.
